South Sea Pearls
Did you know that South Sea pearls are often referred to as the "Queen of Gems"?
These pearls come in the classic silvery white color, though I also have a few with a rich golden tone. These pearls are slightly baroque in shape, adding a unique and elegant touch.
If you’re wondering about the price differences between pearls, it all comes down to the quality and rarity of the pearls used. South Sea pearls, while often baroque in shape (not completely round), are much more expensive than their freshwater counterparts. In fact, South Sea pearls are some of the most valuable pearls on the market!
South Sea pearls can be either silvery white or golden yellow. I have more of the silvery white variety, but if you remember my trip to the Philippines, they specialize in golden South Sea pearls. Compared to Akoya pearls, South Sea pearls have a richer tone, a deeper luster, and thicker, more robust nacre. They are truly stunning, and I’ve been absolutely loving these!
Now, you have the opportunity to own your very own South Sea pearls!
