The Ultimate Pearl Quest: My Next Adventure Begins!

My journey to find the world’s most exquisite pearls has taken me across the globe—from the crystal-clear waters of French Polynesia, where I discovered breathtaking Black Pearls, to the Philippines, home of the Golden South Sea Pearls.

I’ve ventured into China, sourcing luminous white pearls and fiery Fireball Pearls. My travels led me to Indonesia and Australia, where I uncovered their stunning silvery white treasures (and even had a close encounter with Komodo dragons!). In Mexico, I was captivated by rare pearls with mesmerizing hues of green, blue, gray, and purple—a revival of an area once devastated by the construction of the Hoover Dam.

And most recently, I hand-selected Silver Pearls in Japan, each one a shimmering testament to the beauty of the ocean.

The Next Chapter: The Hunt for Rare Blue Pearls

Whew! Exhausted yet? Not me—because this adventure is far from over!

Next, I’m setting off in search of one of the rarest and most elusive pearls in the world: Blue Pearls. These extraordinary gems are Abalone Pearls, formed within the Abalone Sea Snail. And guess what? The trip is already in motion!

This weekend, we gathered at The Pearl Girls to finalize the details of this incredible excursion. Here’s what’s in store for our upcoming adventure:

✈️ We take off for Auckland, New Zealand, where we’ll rest and recharge for a day before boarding a ferry to explore the islands.
🍷 We’ll indulge in wine tastings before leaving the North Island and heading south through the picturesque Marlborough region.
🐋 Our journey includes seal habitats and whale-watching excursions, immersing us in New Zealand’s breathtaking marine life.
🏝️ Finally, we’ll arrive at Arapaoa Island in the Marlborough Sounds, where we’ll spend our days exploring the Arapawa pearl farm and hand-selecting stunning Blue Pearls.
♨️ After a well-earned soak in the hot springs, and a little more wine, we’ll return to the U.S., treasures in hand!
