Design Your Own Pearl Class

Learn how to knot pearls with Abby, the head of The Pearl Girls jewelry production! This is a great way to learn a new skill and mark some gifts off your list!

Are you interested in creating fine pearl jewelry for a loved one (or yourself!)? Well, this class is for you! This is our newest, design your own pearl class! Last year we learned that friends wanted to come together and really have a hand in deciding what they create.  This class will be taught by Abby, the head of jewelry production here at The Pearl Girls®. She will teach you how to knot pearls so you can craft your own fine jewelry. You will learn how to create your own pearl bracelet and you can use this skill to create many more pieces! Maybe you have your grandmother's pearls that need to be reknotted and you have a passion to do it on your own. Maybe you want to give your daughter a strand of pearls and you want to create a piece just for her. OR Maybe you are crafty and want to learn how to make a pair of earrings. Do your girlfriends want to come create matching single pearl necklaces? Hey brides! How about an event for your bridal party! From girls night outs to parties and more, we are excited to custom create a class just for you!

For all of these reasons and more, Abby is thrilled to teach you how to create pearl jewelry! This is typically a  two hour class arranged at a time that is mutually convenient for you and the instructor. We often do morning and day classes so we can be flexible! For pearl knotting classes, Abby will jump right in to learning how to knot pearls. She will teach you everything! Supplies will be provided. We will start working with imitation pearls and silk thread. You will be able to take the imitation pearls and thread home with you to continue practicing and perfecting your pearl knotting. We will provide supply kits that you are welcome to purchase from the class but we anticipate you will have many supplies that you can use on your own (we use tweezers, pliers and clippers!)

The same is true if you prefer to work with metal wire and pearls. Abby will teach you everything and supplies will be included!

The minimum number of participants is 1, bring girlfriends and get a lower per person price! Each person is $50 and this includes supplies! The max is 6 to allow for lots of one-on-one time although, again, we can be flexible. We once hosted an entire real estate agency! We will provide everything you need to work while in the class and you will receive your own imitation pearls and thread to work on in class and at home.

*Please note* speciality classes may cost more if you and your group decide to use different pearls, 14K gold findings or more! It all depends on supply costs!
