Our Project Safe fundraiser is back! Shop now or come see us Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 10AM to 2PM to open an oyster for Project Safe!

We guarantee you will find a pearl in your oyster.

In January, 2019 we hosted a fundraiser, Pearls for Project Safe, at our store in Athens, GA! It was an amazing month and we thank all of you for your support and purchases! It was an amazing event!

 Project Safe aims to reduce incidents of domestic violence and increase victims’ access to safety and justice through a variety of services. In an effort to support their ongoing services, we invited customers to come by The Pearl Girls. They picked their own oysters, opened them and discovered what pearl was hidden inside! All oysters came with a  necklace. And all profits went to Project Safe!

This is our third fundraiser and this one is an upgrade... we will offer new cute designs to put your oyster in... choose a heart, a turtle, an ice cream cone or a unicorn!

If you can’t come open an oyster, in person, let us send you your own oyster kit!

This kit includes your very own oyster. Open it to find a pearl inside! This kit also comes with a necklace to wear your own pearl! Will your pearl be pink, white, black or purple? Who knows?! We love these Open new Oyster kits and we think they are a great activity to combat boredom. Order one for yourself or send it to your grandkids! Fun for the whole family!

Now, since we have so many wonderful customers who couldn't make it AND so many wonderful customers outside of Athens, we are so excited to offer a little take home kit! Feel free to order your own "Open and Oyster" kit and we will mail you an oyster to open and a necklace to go with it! All for $25! $10 from each sale will go to Project Safe!

The final thing to know about these oysters... these are something we ordered specifically for this event and fundraiser. Although we create all of our jewelry here in the USA, these were produced and created overseas. We do not offer our same workmanship guarantee on these oysters or their accompanying necklaces. Because of the nature of this product we do not offer any refunds. These are considered FINAL SALE.

Do Not Eat the Oysters

Do not eat these oysters!! They are preserved in a solution of rubbing alcohol and water so they fine to open and touch and get your pearl but they are not safe to eat.
