Dope Rope Baroque Necklace

Today I am having some fun! Remember when gold chains were the thing? Men and women alike would style themselves in thick gold chains. I'm thinking 1980's. Well, a slang term for those chains was "Dope Rope"

Upon learning this, well, I just couldn't resist. Dope and rope rhyme with baroque! So, how about the Dope Rope Baroque.

Truthfully, this necklace reminds me of that style. I still love a thick chain, especially when paired with soft linen blouse or a pressed button down shirt. The contrast of textures are so beautiful. And, I am a Pearl Girl, after all. The baroque pearl is a beauty 10!

Today is a new day and this new day calls for something different.
